Dr. Deodas Tarachand Meshram (b.13th May, 1970) completed Bachelors (1995) in Agriculture Engineering from PDKV, Akola and Master (1997) in Water Resources Development and Management from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Ph. D (2010) in Irrigation & Water Management Engineering from CTAE, MPUAT, Udaipur. He is having total 19 years experience and written number 31 National, 16 International research papers and 4 books. Presently he is working as Sr. Scientist, (Land and Water Management Engineering) at ICAR-NRC on Pomegranate, Solapur.

Most significant research achievements:

   Developed software for reference crop evapotranspiration

·   Developed stochastic model for time series

·   Standardized subsurface drip irrigation (SDI) and lateral geometry of drip irrigation system for pomegranate

·   Developed crop coefficient curve and standardized organic and inorganic mulches for pomegranate

    Water saving irrigation methods, Irrigation Scheduling, Watershed Management of fruit crops

    Remote Sensing and GIS Application for Natural Resources Management
